Owner-operator Kris Crichton comes from a family of tradesmen. The founder of EMH Home Inspections is Kris’ uncle, Ed. After 17 years in the home inspection industry, Ed turned over the reins to Kris. During the past, Kris also helped his father, who is a stonemason, and his brother, a tile contractor. In other words, Kris has more than enough experience to conduct a thorough home inspection.

What Made Kris Decide to Run EMH
Kris had enjoyed helping his uncle Ed with home inspections. Therefore, when Ed began preparing to retire, Kris decided to step up and become fully committed to delivering comprehensive home inspections.

Kris likes fixing things around his home, along with the homes of his family and friends. When this and DIY projects aren’t taking up his time, he works on his health and fitness. Kris is also a big fan of spending quality time with his family.
Meet the Founder
Edward Herman has spent the last 17 years inspecting homes in the Coachella Valley. He was also a hands-on learner and spent time working as a Journeyman House Framer, a Pool Builder, and the Chief Engineer for the Ritz Carlton and Marriott Hotel Co.
Now that Ed is retired, his nephew Kris has taken over the business. Kris learned how to be a home inspector by working directly with his uncle.
